Ford is introducing a new updated Ikon- ‘Ikon Plus’ this year. New Ford Ikon Plus is available in two engine variants a 1.4-litre TDCi diesel and the 1.3-litre ROCAM petrol engine. New Ikon Plus is priced at Rs 7.10 lakh for the diesel and Rs 6.13 lakh for the petrol.

Hydro Kultur Nios: Fully Functional Hydrogen-Fueled City Car

The Hydro Kultur Nios is a hydrogen-fueled prototype that took part in the 2010 Shell Eco Marathon in the “Urban Concept Cars” category. It was created by a group of students and their professors from three leading German Universities – the University of Art and Design in Halle, the Technical University Chemnitz, and the College of Further Education in Merseburg.

Hydro Kultur Nios

Built around an exposed wooden frame that tips the scales at just 18.5 kg or 40.8 pounds with the car’s overall weight pegged at around 400kg or 882 pounds, the Nios can seat two passengers in tandem with the driver sitting up front.

Chrysler has decided to move the owner’s manual for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee out of the paper world and into the ethereal realm of the iPhone App.

2011 Honda CR-Z

Honda announced today the U.S. pricing for the brand new 2011 CR-Z sport hybrid coupe which is set to hit the dealerships on August 24, 2010. Ok, so the new 2011 Honda CR-Z will go on sales with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $19,200, plus a destination and handling charge1 of $750.

For those who don’t know, the car carries a 1.5-liter i VTEC 4-cylinder engine which delivers 102 hp and an electric motor capable to deliver 20 hp. This means that the car has a total output of 122 hp and 128 lb-ft. of torque at 1,000 to 1,500 rpm (123 lb-ft on CVT-equipped models).

Nissan eco-friendly car in Vehicle Technology

Nissan unveiled its new B-segment eco-friendly car at the Geneva show on March 2nd. As it was already revealed earlier, the new Micra utilizes the new family of inline-3 engines, including the amazing supercharged and direct injection versions that will join in later Motor Vehicle Technology. Right now what is there is the HR12, which produces 80 PS and 108Nm.
