First real Symbian^4 screen shots emerge

We’d argue that the “wow” factor still isn’t there quite yet, but we’ll admit: Symbian^4 is clearly going to be a bit of a departure from the versions that came before it. The Symbian Foundation has posted the first handful of home screen UI shots on its developer wiki recently showing redesigned widgets, app categories and search, pop-up menus, and a standard-issue numeric touchscreen keypad — and unlike Nokia’s concept videos from before, these are from a real emulator running real code.

Made in AA and AAA sizes the battery uses an electromagnetic induction generator and an electric double layer capacitor with a capacitance of about 500mF to produce 10 to 180mW of power. Sharp has proudly introduced the new BDXL Blu-ray disc that are able to hold 100GB(3 layers) to 128GB (4 layers) of storage capacities. However, this Blu-ray disc can only be read by Sharp BD-HDW700 BD recorder/ player at this time. The new Sharp BDXL is currently available in BDXL-R and BDXL-RE models. Only the 100GB version is available as Re-Writable disk. Sharp will launch the BDXL disk in Japan on July 30th, 2010 for 5,000 Yen ($57) each.
